Vision Statement
Our vision is to create a welcoming environment that invites people into worship, fellowship, Christian education and service to the Lord; to increase our outreach to the community, and the world through faith, prayer, and stewardship; and to expand our programs that will develop and nurture disciples who go out and share God’s love.

Congratulations and a big thank you goes out to Leslie Hollman and all who worked so hard on Vacation Bible School. It took a lot of long hours to make it turn out so fantastic.

The decorations and the programs were great. The kids had a fun week and learned from the experience; the whole Vacation Bible School turned out very, very well overall. Thanks again to Leslie and all of you for your love in Jesus Christ to make it so great.

The Long Range Planning Committee is moving ahead with phase one of our master plan; phase one was developed from the congregation forums held in April and May.  The results from the forums told us you wanted to start with the remodeling  of  the sanctuary and of what we now call the new Parish Hall.( Multi– Purpose Building ). The architects have been engaged, and a copy of the plans for the sanctuary have been delivered to them to develop the remodeling of the sanctuary. They will also be starting on the drawings for the new  parish hall. The funds have been approved by the congregation for the architects. Once we  know the cost for the project we will have a congregational meeting to discuss the funding for this project and receive your approval. We are now  forming a Building Committee to work with the  architects and oversee the construction.

The Council approved the continuation of The Olive Leaf Award to deserving members of our congregation. It is a very prestigious award, you must be a member for ten years to be eligible for the award, and be  a very active participant in our church.

We are also planning a new picture directory in the near future.

I will be on vacation from June 26 to July 11,  I will be back in time for the Council Meeting in July.

God’s Blessing to every one.

  Fellowship Board Goals

The Fellowship Board’s goal is to provide our church membership with a more welcoming environment and increased opportunity for fellowship. Some of the ways we hope to do this in the upcoming year are to provide fellowship opportunities through: Sunday coffee fellowship between services, by supporting the Sun and Snowbirds potluck luncheons, supporting ‘Newcomers Welcome’, opportunities for ‘Party of Eight’ dinners, D-Back games, Colorado Raft Ride, Boulder City Train Ride, Bunco and Bingo games, and more…
We need your help. If you or your Board wish to plan an event for fellowship please contact Alice Hayes at 764-3594. The Fellowship Board wants to support these events...let us help you. The Board invites everyone to attend our meetings the first Thursday of each month at 6:30PM. Please bring us your ideas so we can offer our members more opportunities for fellowship.
If you are interested in these events or would like to see other event please call Alice Hayes or join us in the Parish Center on May 6th at 6:30PM for our next monthly meeting.

  Quarterly Contribution Statements Coming Soon

Contribution statements for the second quarter (April – June) will be printed and distributed in early July. These statements are intended to keep you informed of all contributions received during the period, so that any discrepancies can be corrected immediately rather than wait until tax time next year. The statements also show you how your contributions have been applied against your pledge for 2010 (if applicable).
If you would prefer not to receive a quarterly statement, you may opt out by simply calling the office and indicating your desire not to receive a statement. You will still receive an annual statement for tax purposes in January even if you opt out of quarterly statements.
